YA Scavenger Hunt Is Now Over

Thank you for participating in the Scavenger Hunt. I hope you enjoyed it! This bi-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors...and a chance to win some awesome prizes! At this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize--one lucky winner will receive one signed book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 72 hours!

Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are SIX contests going on simultaneously. I am a part of Team Indie--but there is also a red team, a gold team, an orange team, green team and a blue team. You can enter one or all for a chance to win a whole different set of signed books!

If you'd like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page.

SCAVENGER HUNT PUZZLE

Directions: Below, you'll notice that I've listed my favorite number. Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the Team Indie, and then add them up (don't worry, you can use a calculator!).

Entry Form: Once you've added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by Sunday October 5th, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Now onto the Hunt!
Today, I'm hosting Tamara Vann for the YA Scavenger Hunt.
Here is a little about this talented author. Tamara Vann was born in Bay City, Texas and grew up in El Paso, Texas. She started writing at an early age, encouraged by teachers and relatives. Her first novel, "Twenty-Six Roses" was electronically published on June 21, 2012 and published in paperback on September 11, 2012. Currently, Tamara lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband, Stephen, and their son, Isaac. You can learn more about Tamara and Twenty-Six roses other Facebook page by clicking here.

Here is more about her book
After the tragic death of her father, fifteen-year-old Kara Spencer feels lost. Unsure what her future holds, she obediently follows when her mother moves her and her younger sister to a new home in a new town. While exploring their new house, Kara and her sister find a magical secret that may prove deadly. With her sister's life hanging in the balance, will Kara be strong enough to step into the unknown to protect her family?
Sound good? Want to read it at least 3 times?
You can buy the book here.

Several of my books are on sale during the YA Scavenger Hunt. If you're interested in purchasing any of them while on sale, you can click here for Amazon or here for Barnes and Noble.

But wait! There's more! I'm also hosting some giveaways here on my blog. My very favorite thing to do is read and there are only a few books that I have read out of all the books in the YASH. And every one I have seen I want to read there is no way to pick just one.

Unknown said...

I followed your blog! :)

Unknown said...

I've found several! I have no idea how I'm supposed to read all of these books and still write my own! LOL

Charlotte Choi said...

I just started the hunt so I don't have any particular book I'm most interested in winning. Every book's so interesting I'd have a hard time choosing!

So many! All the books I haven't read sound awesome, I'm crossing my fingers to win at least a few. :)
Oh, and I followed you ;)

Mary McCormick said...

Are you kidding? ALL of the books! Where I live, my local bookstore doesn't usualy get all of the most recent books, unless they are RELALLY popular (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson etc) so it's hard to find new books to read.

Anonymous said...

Of course!!
In no particular order:
Legendary by LH Nicole
A Cold Legacy by Megan Shepard
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Tiger's Dream by Colleen Houck
